lab technician

DENTAL LAB TECHNICIAN
Duties and Responsibilities:  A dental technologist is a member of the dental team who, upon prescription from a dental clinician, constructs custom made restorative and dental appliances. There are four major disciplines within dental technology.

Salary: $23,000-$56,000

Education: Dental laboratory technicians may receive their education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school. Graduates of these programs receive either an associate degree or a certificate. There also are a few programs that offer a four-year baccalaureate program in dental technology.

Reflection: I would like to be one it seems like a good and well paid carrier and from the research and pictures i saw it is different than an normal dentist you do more work manually.
