Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

History: Colonists and Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as one of the first Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies they did not continuously celebrated this it was until 200 years later. Thanks giving were not only one day it was three days of hunting and eating and other entertaining activities George Washington made thanks giving official in a Thursday November 26 in 1789.Every year at the last Thursday of November we celebrate thanksgiving.
